Synopsis
In Uruguay, where he has been living with his wife Alice and his son Thomas for the last five years, Orlando Vargas is under pressure from the authorities. While his assistant Gaspard openly expresses his concern for him, Costas, a man whom he frequents discreetly, praises his courage. Orlando, who is followed by a policeman at all times, seems indifferent to the danger.

Only Thomas witnesses the rage that he tries to drown in alcohol. Surprising those around him, he decides to leave with Alice and Thomas for Joséfina, the last village on the coast before Brazil.

In Joséfina, things start moving faster. On the day of their arrival, Orlando doesn't return home. Alice then has to face the reality of the man she loves…
